What to expect when visiting THE RIGHT DEALERSHIP.
In my time in the car industry, many variables and expectations have changed. Products, prices, advertising, customers needs etc. However, in my humble opinion nothing has changed for the negative, as much as customers experiences, fear, media headlines, and perceived negative tactics in the industry. As someone who grew up, shuffling around my grandfathers feet, as a small child, learning at the school of hard knocks, spending time with him at his dealership, I initially misunderstood some of the fear, indecision and stress associated with many experiences in local dealerships.
Purchasing an automobile does not have to be a dreaded process/decision. When arriving at a dealership if you do not feel comfortable, if you feel pressured, if you are not enjoying your experience, get up and leave. You have many choices, and have the right to pick the best fit, after all it is YOUR Hard earned money. My grandfather taught me if you treat people with respect and dignity, eventually you will earn their business, and I believe that is one variable that will never change.
Having some information handy will make best use of your time, and will allow the sales associate to get you more accurate information, in less time. Any documents from previous loan or financing contracts, knowledge of interest rate %, lender name, and term of the loan, as well as specifications and must haves for your new vehicle.
This information will allow the sales professional to save you time, achieve quicker more accurate information and give the consumer all the best options, to ensure the best decision is made.
Most importantly, buying a vehicle should be an exciting experience. Some stress is inherent in making a big decision, but I like to tell my customers, “diamonds cant be made without pressure”.
Until Next Time,
