The Opiod Crisis.. Educate yourself at this interactive exhibit.
The Opiod Crisis is overwhelming communities and families all over the world. Red Deer has not escaped the grip of these easily obtained, highly addictive drugs.
While communities everywhere struggle to deal with this crisis, the first step is understanding just what is happening. As much as we talk about opiods, for the most part the general population is suffering from a lack of understanding.
Well here’s your chance to learn just what is happening. This eye-opening exhibit will help you understand how this crisis is ‘much’ larger than you thought..
This week at Red Deer College, you can visit “Opioids Don’t Discriminate”. It’s an interactive exhibit showing the different realities of people who suffer opioids addiction.
You will follow the path of three fictional characters, Natasha, David and Max. But all three are based on the real-life experiences of people affected by opioid use.
The most powerful part of all this.. you will definitely see yourself or someone you love in these people!
