The Greiner family from Stettler is a tight knit group.  According to Miles Greiner it’s not uncommon to see 20 or more gathering for a meal or a celebration several times a month.  So it was natural for relatives from as far as Saskatchewan to be there for a particularly joyful celebration this week.  That’s when the Red Deer Hospital Lottery handed over the keys to Debbie Greiner’s new dream home.  Debbie bought the winning ticket and says she was truly shocked when the call came to tell her she’d won the home valued at $874,895.00!

Ticket sales for the Red Deer Hospital Lottery were up 4% in 2018.  While 83% of those tickets were sold, the Mega Bucks 50 draw was a complete sell out!  Jeannette Richard of Red Deer picked up the pot of a quarter million dollars.

The Hospital Lottery helped the Red Deer Regional Health Foundation raise well over half a million dollars.  That means 39 new high tech beds will be added to various units throughout the hospital.  Of course none of this could happen without all the efforts of the Foundation, volunteers, and the builders who year after year produce an incredible dream home for tens of thousands of ticket buyers.   Here’s a quick final look at 56 Larrat Close by Sorento Custom Homes.
