Music for Mental Health
Did you know the Red Deer Symphony Orchestra delivers seven community programs?
Music for Mental Health provides seats at each concert to clients and caregivers to promote improved mental health and inclusion of vulnerable people and their caregivers. Participants complete a pre and post-performance evaluation that measures their general mental state before and after the experience.
The RDSO is a community oriented professional performing arts organization that is dedicated to providing high calibre performances and education experiences. Each year the Red Deer Symphony Orchestra produces seven world-class concerts and a number of community programs which focus on igniting a passion of arts and culture in central Alberta. Over 10,000 people enjoy the RDSO’s concerts and programs, many of whom are seniors, children and their families.
