Literacy Program All Smiles After Tim Horton’s Donation
A program that helps young students has been given a major boost by the Tim Horton’s Smile Cookies Campaign.
Local Tim Horton’s owners have presented a cheque for $40,136 dollars to the Foundation for Red Deer Public Schools. That’s exactly how many “smile cookies” Central Albertans purchased during this year’s campaign.
The donation will support Reading College, a potentially life altering program which helps struggling young readers become confident young learners.
