Candidate Priorities
Red Deer Can Be So Much More! |
We live in an amazing place, but the status quo isn’t working. Taxes are going up and the city has largely stagnated, despite incredible growth throughout Alberta. We can unlock Red Deer’s potential by: |
Pursuing Relentless Growth |
Red Deer has the potential to be the most strategically important city in Western Canada, with so many opportunities around us. The city must cut red tape, streamline processes, get more houses built and focus on relentless growth. |
Building Compassionate Community |
The family is the building block of society. The focus should be on essential services, while advocating for family-friendly policies and keeping taxes low. Red Deer should be a compassionate community where all families can flourish. |
Embracing Incremental Improvement |
There must be a culture of looking to continually make things better. We must ask “What’s the next simple thing we can do to make things better?” and seek input from the front lines to focus on improving every day. |
