Festival of Trees in need of volunteers!

Hundreds of volunteers make annual event possible
The 29th annual Festival of Trees in Red Deer is set to open on Friday, November 25, and organizers say volunteers are still needed from November 19 to 27.
The Red Deer Regional Health Foundation organizes the festival each year. Hundreds of volunteers are recruited to help during the festival and the days of setup before the event.
Volunteers can sign up online at reddeerfestivaloftrees.ca/volunteer, or they can call or text the volunteer hotline at 587-876-8699.
Each year in November, Festival of Trees is one of the foundation’s largest fundraisers. Proceeds from Festival of Trees support a specific project at Red Deer Hospital. This year’s event supports the purchase of equipment for the Intensive Care and Coronary Care units at the hospital.
