Dance Magic Studio- Educating Children Through Dance

The Red Deer & District Chamber of Commerce recently held its 2017 Business of the Year Awards. One of great companies showcased was Dance Magic Studio, The company began in the basement of a small church, with 32 students, 30 years ago. In 2006, Christine Slaymaker bought the company and 12 years later has grown to support over 38 employees. They operate out of two locations in Red Deer and are home to not only dance lessons but music lessons, aerial acrobatics and a performing arts preschool.
Dance Magic Studio is committed to providing lessons in a fun, upbeat and positive atmosphere; supported by teachers with a passion for learning and the arts. They believe the lessons learned in our classroom extend so far beyond the steps, notes and choreography. Their goal is to share their love of dance and music while encouraging positive growth and development in every aspect of their lives. A non-competitive atmosphere aims to nurture self-confidence, personal friendships and lasting, lifetime memories. Dance Magic Studio passionately embraces their responsibility to educate children through dance but also in life! Watch the video and learn about this innovative and inspiring locally-owned and operated business.
