Breaking Stigmas explores abandoned resources in the city of Red Deer Alberta. It incorporates the city’s service providers, small business and citizens to showcase strengths and disband stigmas. It asks the provincial government to reopen the abandoned Michener Center buildings as an investment in community mental health development in areas of services not yet available to our changing society and economy. It will serve as a referral tool to existing community services. Financing suggestions, development and design contributions will be submitted by processionals in our communities and provinces. A proposal will be submitted to the provincial government for strong consideration. Red Deer Alberta will host the 2019 Winter games. Breaking Stigmas will debut a feature length movie then.
