How connected are we to our vehicles?
Like it or not, the vast majority of us, Canadiens rely highly on our automobiles. Some of us spend more time behind the wheel, than in our own bed. Some of us love our vehicle, some of us hate it. Some cherish the time we spend in our vehicle, some despise it. Some respect automobiles for all that they are and can be, some view them as a status symbol. One thing is clear, with the creation of many of our large cities and urban areas, our planning has forced the high utilization of vehicles, for business and pleasure. We are forced in most scenarios to spend time and money on these vehicles, to keep them performing optimally, and keep them reliable. We might as well enjoy them!!
The variety of vehicles has never been more diverse, hatchbacks, sedans, cross-overs,suv’s,light trucks, heavy trucks, smart cars, hybrids, etc. the prices for these vehicle are as diverse as their looks. Thus the choice! You have never had as many options, as well as economical options, with the longer maintenance cycle of many newer vehicles and the increased fuel efficiency standards almost across the board!
When looking for your best option, have your priorities clearly laid out, know what is important and what isn’t. Most importantly have fun with the process. Be educated and know what you are hoping to accomplish.
