Unemployed college students beg for loan forgiveness while great careers thirst for new people
Are the young people in your life wondering what direction to go? Are they considering taking on massive student loans without a clear goal in mind?
In this fascinating conversation between John Stossel and Mike Rowe (former host of “Dirty Jobs”) we’re challenged to rethink what we believe about higher education.
In this quick discussion from Stossel TV, (sign up here: https://www.johnstossel.com/#subscribe) Rowe takes on higher education, how the “safety first” mantra actually hurts society, and why it’s easy to save lives but LIVING life is more important.

Green Energy Needs Minerals, Yet America Blocks New Mines
From StosselTV
We’re told we need more minerals for EVERYTHING, especially “green” energy. But America regulators and environmental groups keep KILLING new mines!
“Why in the world would you put billions of dollars at risk to get a permit? Knowing they’ll just cancel a permit!” Physicist Mark Mills writes about the absurd regulations in the mining industry, “You’re going to be waiting, not months, not years, but the record shows decades.” America used to lead the world in producing minerals. Now we rank next to last in the time it takes to develop mines. How did this happen? Because rich environmental groups hate mines. They run deceitful ads and even collude with government to block mines. The video above explains some of the many reasons why this is a BIG problem.
After 40+ years of reporting, I now understand the importance of limited government and personal freedom.

The Crisis Industry: How Activists Profit from Panic
From StosselTV
Pollution, homophobia, racism, hate; activists claim everything is getting worse. The opposite is true. But if they admit that how would they raise money?
“For activists, success is a threat,” journalist John Tierney explains. “It is going to put you out of business unless you find a new cause.”
Tierney has covered activists for years and watched them move from one cause to another. “But it’s not a business,” I push back. “They’re not making money doing this.” “Oh, yes, they are,” replies Tierney. Lots!
Our new video looks at how these activist groups raise billions of dollars, the consequences of their activism, and why we fall for their scares.
