Are you ready to join 100+ Women Who Care?
Next week 100+ Women Who Care Red Deer kicks off a new year of community building and you’re invited!
What’s 100+ Women Who Care?
Simple. It’s a group of women who get together four times a year with the goal of giving away $100 dollars each to a very worthy cause. When you combine all the donations, the total is well over $10,000 dollars. There’s no overhead, just a whole lot of instant help for a cause needing a quick boost.
The business part of the meeting takes about one-hour. In just 60 minutes attendees will learn about a few local charities and then vote to decide where their donations will go. That’s it.
But there’s more.. the meetings are always a lot of fun too. Those who wish can stick around for a glass of wine because this is also a fabulous networking opportunity.
100 Women Who Care is for you if:
- You don’t have time in your busy life to volunteer but have been wanting to help those in need, and you can commit to one hour every three months;
- You are interested in meeting other women philanthropists
- You want 100% of your donations to go directly to a local charity;
- You want your $100 donation to become a part of a larger amount of money by joining together with other women—creating a powerful impact in our local area.
Click on the video above to learn more… from one of our members, Bre Fitzpatrick.
In 2017 100% of your donations to 100+ Women Who Care were awarded to:
-
The Lending Cupboard $14,450
-
Central Alberta Brain Injury Society $14,725
-
Family Services of Central Alberta $13,450
-
Red Deer Christmas Bureau $8900 and counting!
The first meeting of 2018 will be held on Monday, February 5 at 7 p.m. at the Red Deer Golf and Country Club.
Please come and help us celebrate our 3rd anniversary and the start of year 4!
