Sponsors Ensure Canada Day Fireworks Will Be Spectacular
As the 150th Canada Day Celebration approached, the Red Deer Cultural Heritage Society decided something special had to be done. The Cultural Heritage Society is the host organization for the annual Canada Day Celebration at Bower Ponds. Each year the party is capped by Red Deer’s most anticipated fireworks display of the year. Thousands see the fireworks on their way home while just as many who haven’t attended the day’s events crowd to the area to experience the explosions of light and sound. A typical show will cost around $7,500.00. Thanks to sponsors who have stepped forward to Canada’s 150 Celebration, this year’s show will come in at about $25,000.00.
Here’s Rob Ironside of the Red Deer Cultural Heritage Society along with two important sponsors including Chung Man of Wei’s Western Wear and Mike Samson of The Scottsville Auto Group.
And here are more details about all the events taking place at Bower Ponds on Saturday, July 1st!
