The much anticipated opening of the new NexSource Centre in Sylvan Lake is now upon us. Town officials say the facility will open Friday, March 31st at 9 am, with a Grand Opening slated for May 12th – 14th.

After a detailed design process which began in 2014, the $33.5 million Multi-Use Recreational building is finally ready for use and will feature:

Two regulation arenas
A five-sheet curling rink
A swimming pool
A three-lane running/walking track
Seniors Centre
Multipurpose rooms
Viewpoint lounge
A children’s play space (not yet installed)
