Dancing For A Better World
This year’s Sheraton Celebrity Dance Off again features some really amazing people. The commitment to train, practice, raise money, and then perform in front a thousand people is significant. Lyn Radford knows all about it. She performed in the 2013 Celebrity Dance off and fully understands how much is involved.
While the event itself is sold out there are several other ways to provide your support. Below are links to each of the Celebrity dancers. Please go online and support them financially. The efforts of these 8 incredible individuals, along with your support, will make our community a better place.
Here is a look at some of the hard work these Celebrities and their professional partners are putting in to make the Dance Off really special.
Proceeds from this year’s Sheraton Celebrity Dance Off 2017 (SCDO) will go to Central Alberta Child Advocacy Centre (CACAC) and Central Alberta Sexual Assault Support Centre (CASASC). Both groups are looking for a new home in Red Deer.
CACAC, new to our region, is offering a new integrated services approach for children experiencing violence and trauma. To learn more about this initiative, visit Sheldon Kennedy Child Advocacy Centre on which the Central Alberta CAC will be modeled.
Central Alberta Sexual Assault Support Centre has been serving our community for over 30 years and is desperately in need of more space to meet the needs of its clients.
It is truly an honour for the SCDO 2017 to partner with these two great agencies. Proceeds from the event will go towards a facility that will be home to both organizations.
Todayville is a proud sponsor of the 2017 Sheraton Celebrity Dance Off.
