Here Are Some Great Services to Get You Home Safely New Year’s Eve!
The countdown is nearly on, and like many of you, we’re excited to raise a glass and welcome the New Year tomorrow night! We hope everyone has a fun and festive evening, but now is a good time to consider how you’ll get home after the party; according to Mothers Against Drunk Driving, New Year’s Day is one of the most dangerous of the year for drunk driving on Canada’s roadways.
Here in Red Deer, we’re lucky enough to have several great options for getting home, ensuring a safe start to 2017:
Have you heard of DD Take Home? It’s a designated driving service operating in the Red Deer area with a mission to make the roads safe for citizens and visitors alike. When you book a ride with DD Take Home, a two-person team will make sure that both you AND your vehicle make it home safely. Even if you live a bit further afield in Central Alberta or have a larger party that needs a ride, DD Take Home will do their best to accommodate you, just give them a call. Note DD Take Home is not a taxi service, and you must have a vehicle to be moved in order to use their services.
It’s so easy to book a ride, either call 587-876-4412 or book online at www.DDtakehome.ca
Red Deer Driver Take Home & Delivery also provides a safe, responsible alternative to drinking and driving and eliminates the hassle of picking up your vehicle the next day. They also offer 24/7 food delivery, as well as liquor delivery so you can keep your party going safely!
Call 587-377-0111 to book.
Of course there are traditional taxis ready to get you home safely also. Here are a couple useful numbers for you:
Associated Cab has been serving Red Deer and surrounding communities since 1978 and is now the largest fleet of taxis in the Red Deer area.
Call Associated Cab for a ride at 403-434-3300 or 403-346-2222.
You can also book a ride on the Associated Cab app! Available for download on the App Store.
Alberta Gold Taxi has been serving Red Deer and surrounding areas 24/7 for nearly 20 years!
Call 403-341-7777 to book or book a ride on the Alberta Gold Taxi app! Available for download on the App Store.
Whichever safe option you choose to get you home, all of us here at Todayville are wishing you and your loved ones a safe and happy New Year!
