Canadian church goes up in flames for the third time in a week

A Franciscan Catholic church in Trois-Rivières, Quebec, which was sold to a developer, was a near total loss after a fire broke out on Thursday, but police are mum on a possible cause.

A massive fire reduced a Canadian church to ashes for the third time in less than a week.

Notre-Dame-des-Sept-Allégresses, a century-old Franciscan Catholic church in Trois-Rivières, Quebec, was a near total loss after a fire broke out on Thursday. The church, built in 1914, was not in use. It had been sold to developers, who planned to build 40 small apartments inside with additional units in the back of the building.

Nevertheless, the historic church blaze spread rapidly, and fire crews were not able to fully contain the flames, which resulted in extensive damage to the building, including one of its bell towers that collapsed.

Despite not being an active church, 11 Franciscan brothers were staying in a building connected to the back of the church but were able to get out in time before the blaze went out of control.

According to Father Guylain Prince, who oversees the local Franciscan congregation, the fire forced his 10 brothers from the scene.

“It was the only parish that was active (in the area) for more than 100 years by Franciscans, so it was we who built it. It contained frescoes by St. Francis, stained glass windows. It is a superb church, an extraordinary church,” Prince said, according to local media, which reported that the owner of the church is still “in shock” about what happened.

“We’re gonna sit down with the city authorities to see what we can do. This is not a standard building, it is a very special building,” said Georges Mouradian, the church’s new owner.

The official cause of the blaze is not fully known. Local police are mum on a possible cause.

In the span of a week, Notre-Dame-des-Sept-Allégresses is the third church to go up in flames in Canada. LifeSiteNews reported that one Catholic and Anglican church were destroyed.

The church burnings started in 2021 after the mainstream media and the federal government ran with inflammatory and dubious claims that hundreds of children were buried and disregarded by Catholic priests and nuns who ran some of the now-closed residential schools.

Conservative Party of Canada (CPC) MP Jamil Jivani has urged support from his political opponents for a bill that would give stiffer penalties to arsonists caught burning churches down, saying the recent rash of destruction is a “very serious issue” that is a direct “attack” on families as well as “religious freedom in Canada.”

LifeSiteNews reported in August that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s cabinet said it will expand a multimillion-dollar fund geared toward documenting claims that hundreds of young children died and were clandestinely buried at now-closed residential schools, some of them run by the Catholic Church.

LifeSiteNews reported last week that Leah Gazan, backbencher MP from the New Democratic Party, brought forth a new bill that seeks to criminalize the denial of the unproven claim that the residential school system once operating in Canada was a “genocide.”

Canadian indigenous residential schools, run by the Catholic Church and other Christian churches, were set up by the federal government and were open from the late 19th century until 1996.

While there were indeed some Catholics who committed serious abuses against native children, the unproved “mass graves” narrative has led to widespread anti-Catholic sentiment since 2021.

Blackfalds RCMP execute search warrant seizing drugs and guns

Blackfalds, Alta. – In September of 2024 the Blackfalds RCMP General Investigation Section (GIS) with assistance from Sylvan Lake GIS entered into an investigation involving an individual believed to be trafficking drugs in the community. As a result of the investigation, on Oct. 2, 2024, Blackfalds RCMP with assistance from Innisfail RCMP GIS and Red Deer RCMP Police Dog Service executed a search warrant at a home in Blackfalds.

As a result of the search RCMP seized:

253 grams of Cocaine
$3343 in Currency
6 firearms

RCMP have arrested and charged Blackfalds resident, Lotus Joan Silver Stalteri-Roberts (25), with:

Possession for the purpose of trafficking;
Possession of stolen property under $5000;
Weapons offences (x8).

Stalteri-Roberts was taken before a Justice of the Peace and remanded into custody with her next court date set for Oct. 3, 2024, at the Alberta Court of Justice in Red Deer.

“This investigation saw the effective coordination of different RCMP Detachments and Sections to quickly and safely remove these drugs and guns from our community,” says Staff Sergeant Andrew Allan.

The United Nations would like the world to adhere to its lax crime laws. Generate civil unrest to destabilize nations to create a need for order, a New World Order, that will be more powerful and effective than the government. El Salvador’s Nayib Bukele began an anti-gang crusade when he entered office. Affiliated with a gang? Straight to prison.

Now, the self-proclaimed humanitarians at the Untied Nations called Bukele’s crusade extreme and demanded that he loosen his laws. “Some say that we have imprisoned thousands, but the reality is that we have freed millions. Now it is the good guys who live free, without fear, with their freedoms and human rights fully respected,” Bukele said to the counsel.

Over 82,000 gang members were arrested. Sadly, those who were not arrested fled to open border nations like the United States where they will not be deported because they are seeking asylum for their crimes. Donald Trump accurately said that declining crime in South America directly correlated to the rising crime we see in the United States.

But, it is the duty of each leader to put his or her country first. “We made our nation that was the homicide capital of the world, the safest country in the entire Western Hemisphere . It was the greatest challenge that our nation has overcome,” he added. The governor affirmed that El Salvador used to be the “most violent country in the world without war or the country of the maras” (gangs), but this changed with his crusade.” The president proudly noted that he has returned the streets of El Salvador back to the people.

Again, El Salvador cannot prevent the exodus of criminals from its border that are surging into the United States. Bukele would have had those criminals imprisoned, but Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have openly welcomed into America. The blatant corruption has been noted by everyone.

“In El Salvador we do not imprison our opposition, we do not censor opinions, we do not confiscate property of those who think differently, we do not arrest people for their expressing ideas,” the president said as a direct criticism to the Build Back Better nations that are openly silencing and arresting any politician who dares speak out against the Great Reset and New World Order agendas.

The nations with leaders brave enough to go against the global cabal are excelling. We cannot be angered by leaders who uphold the integrity of their office and put their own people and domestic policy first and foremost.
